Near the end of his days, the great Alchemist Nicolas Flamel has one last chance to create the Elixir of Life. He diligently follows the steps in an ancient treatise he has recently acquired, which leads him to build a machine, whose purpose it turns out is to contact the only Alchemist who knows the elusive potion’s formula.
