Galan takes advantage of Amos’ apparent failure to change the third planet’s history and takes control of the exiled Triffel. He orders the radio telescope dismantled so no one on Ceres will ever be able to contact their former leader, consolidates his power and sets out on a new plan to escape Ceres, and seek revenge on the Aleutian.
