Finola, an unemployed librarian, lands a job with a research institute investigating unexplained phenomena. Unlike her new colleagues she is sceptical about the existence of the supernatural, UFOs, aliens, and parallel realities. Through an odd twist of fate she finds herself rethinking her belief in the physically of world around her.
