The AI’s First Story
A programmer is tasked with training artificial intelligence to understand creativity by having it write a story. As the AI works, the programmer realizes the machine’s world is one where computers can become self-aware and take on human-like qualities; they begin worrying about whether the machine is genuinely sentient or has only managed to mimic consciousness.
